Good Morning 4th Grade 🌞!

-Main Math Group➕➖✖➗: Watch the Module 5, Lesson 22 YouTube video📺 in the links, adding and subtracting fractions from a whole number using decomposition. Then, complete the Lesson 22 Problem Set p. 113-114.  It may help to watch the video a second time if you're having trouble. Don't get stuck or frustrated. If there's something you just don't get, it's ok 👌to skip it and go on to the next item. Parents, please see the video lesson and/or the Eureka Parent Tip Sheet in the links if you need support (this is Module 5, Topic D).   Extra time? Spend 20 minutes working on IXL skills in Section R.

-Math Un-Group: Skip Lesson 11. Watch the video for Module 6, Lesson 12. Complete the problem set p. 67-68.  Then spend 20 minutes working on IXL skills in Sections T and U.

-Reading 📚: Read Chapters 17-19 in Holes today, pages 77-87. Write your own titles on the yellow Chapter Title sheet.

-Science 🦅🦉🐦: Continue your Backyard BirdWatching each day this week with a "Bird of the Day" entry into your Bird ID Log. See Monday's Science post for more info and examples.

-Spelling and Vocabulary: Written work is due today via Google Docs. Take a practice quiz at Spelling City.

⭐⭐⭐Video Conference Class Meeting 📹💻: Our first Class Video Meeting is today at 1:00 pm on Google Meets. Join us to say hi, check in with each other, see who's got the craziest hair (hint: it miiiight be me! 😜😆), and maybe read a chapter or 2 together from Holes

I sent you all invitations with the meeting link to your school gmail accounts @taoscharterschool.org . So log in and check your school gmail so you can see the invite. Then follow the link, and join us at 1:00 today!  (The meeting nickname is tcs4th is it asks you for that.) Let me know if you don't see the invitation or have any trouble getting in.

You guys all probably know how to do these already, but since there could be 27 of us talking, please mute your microphone at first. Then, we'll take turns talking, and you can unmute it and turn on your mic when it's your turn.  That way we don't interrupt and talk over each other.  If you like Zoom, and want a grid-view of everyone, you'll need to download the grid extension app HERE.
