Good Morning 4th Grade 🌞!
-Main Math Group➕➖✖➗: Skip Lesson 18. Then watch the Module 5, Lesson 19 YouTube video📺 in the links, solving word problems involving adding and subtracting fractions. Then, complete the Lesson 19 Problem Set p. 101-102, and homework pages p. 103-104. It may help to watch the video a second time if you're having trouble. Don't get stuck or frustrated. If there's something you just don't get, it's ok 👌to skip it and go on to the next item. Parents, please see the video lesson and/or the Eureka Parent Tip Sheet in the links if you need support (this is Module 5, Topic C). Extra time? Spend 20 minutes working on IXL skills Q11, Q12, Q14.

-Reading 📚: Read Chapter 7 in Holes today, pages 26-40. Write your own title on the yellow Chapter Title sheet. This chapter has a couple of Flashbacks, where the story changes setting to a different time and place, and then goes back to the present day. If there are students who are having trouble following the story structure, please ask me and I'll help. Has anyone tried the Holes audio book read-aloud 🎧 on YouTube? If so, how is that going? Check in with me via email or chat on Google Hangouts to let me know.
-Spelling and Vocabulary: Written work is due via Google Docs by Friday. You can share it with me early if you finish before then. Take a practice quiz at Spelling City.
