Over the weekend:

-Science: Continue Step 6 on the purple sheet (gather information on your topic, read, and take notes). Please bring all of your research materials and notes to school on Monday, as we'll have some time to work on it in class.

For Tuesday and Wednesday:

-Ski/Snowboard program will meet at TCS at 7:40 on Tuesday. The forecast is for a VERY COLD and windy day, so wear your warmest gear and don't forget goggles and some kind of face protection (scarf, facemask, or neck gaiter). We'll return to TCS for a 5:00 pick up. -Math: Complete Lesson 13 homework pages 70-71, due Wednesday. -Science: Continue working through steps 3 and 4 on the purple checklist. I'll meet with you individually on Wednesday to approve (or help you improve) your actual report topic, so have that with you and ready to discuss. -TCS Basketball Tournament/ Fundraiser: Parents, please sign up to volunteer at our TCS tournament this week if you haven't already. Our 4th grade day is Thursday, February 27. We need you! If you can't make it Thursday, please sign up to volunteer another day, or donate food for concessions. This year’s tournament will be held from Tuesday, February 25th to Sunday, March 1. The weekday games will run from 4pm till 8:30

Over the weekend:

-Science: Continue to do some research and reading in the general field of science you chose. Begin to narrow down to find some ideas for the topic of your report. Discuss possible topics with your parents. Like we discussed in class, it helps to think of 3-point topic, such as the 3 outer planets, 3 parts of the brain, 3 New Mexico ungulates, the 3 types of rocks, 3 great ape species, 3 environmental problems and possible solutions, 3 NASA discoveries...

For Friday:

-Math: Lesson 11 homework p. 59-60. Remember that right angles add up to 90, straight angles add up to 180, reflex angles add up to 360, and opposite angles are equal. -Spelling and Vocabulary: Study for the quiz. -Science: Move on to Step 2 on the purple checklist. For Thursday:

-Math: Complete Lesson 10 homework p. 55-56. -Spelling & Vocabulary: Written work is due. -Science: Complete Step #1 on the purple project checklist (choose a general field of science that you're interested in, and you'd like to learn more about).
