I'll meet with each student on Wednesday to help you finalize your decision.

Career Project:

The fourth grade class is beginning a career education project which will require some parent involvement. Each student will be choosing a career that they are going to be studying. As part of the project, I’ve asked the students to arrange a visit and an interview with a local person who has the career that they choose. Please assist your son or daughter in contacting this person (perhaps you have a friend or an associate who would work), and supervise the visit. The culminating activity of the project will be a posterboard presentation by each student teaching the class about the career that they have studied. The presentations will begin Wednesday, May 13 (or sooner if students finish early). The students have more information about the specifics of the project. Please contact me at school if you have any additional questions.

Thursday Hike!

Students should be prepared for the elements and wear sturdy sneakers or hiking boots, shorts, a hat, and a light-colored t-shirt . They should also bring a small backpack with their own lunch and a water bottle . Wear sunblock, and sunglasses if you have them. There is a transportation charge of $3 per student . Students can bring the fee into school on the day of the trip or before.
