-Book Bag Pick-up πŸ“šπŸ›πŸšš for 4th grade is TODAY, Wednesday, April 8th at TCS anytime from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Come on up to school and pick up your materials. They will be waiting for you outside☀️ at the school-bus 🚍 turnaround on the sidewalk. Every student has a brown paper grocery bag with their name 🏷 on it. Some students requested art supplies πŸŽ¨πŸ–Ό from Ms. Katie, and they are also out there with your book bag. Parents, please drive up πŸš—, find πŸ”Žyour son or daughter's bag (or bags), grab-it-n-go πŸ‘‹πŸ˜·. (Your bags are all out there now. Come on up!)

-πŸ“šReading: Spend 30 minutes or so working on the Everything on a Waffle questions. These are due Friday, so take your time  and write good, thoughtful, complete responses. Cite evidence to prove what you're saying.

-Math Main Group➕➖✖➗: No assignment today 😒.

-Math UnGroup⚛♾: Spend 45 minutes finishing up lessons in Module 5. Watch the Youtube videos or Khan Academy when necessary. Skip items or lessons that are easy, redundant, or confusing. Review and get ready for the Mod 5 test that I'm planning to have you guys take for Thursday.

A message from Coach VanNevel:

Dear Students and families,

I hope all of you are staying strong and positive during this difficult time. Right now exercise is crucial for your body and mental well-being for you and your family members. The World Health Organization recommends 60 minutes of exercise per day for children 5-17. I realize that sometimes this is not possible, but do your best to get outside everyday for as long as you can.
I will be sending out a new activity log every two weeks, please fill it out and return it at the end of the two weeks. Of course you can have multiple activities per day to fill in your log and get that 60 minutes per day.
Here is a small sample of activities you can do to get your 60 minutes or more of physical activity a day. Walking, running, jumping rope, riding your bike, playing tag with family members, basketball, soccer, throwing and catching, yoga, push ups and sit ups, planks, wall sits and jumping on a trampoline are a few ideas to get outside, get some exercise and get some fresh air.

If you have any questions please contact me via email.
