Good Morning 4th Grade 🌞!

-Class Meeting yesterday: Thanks everyone for attending our first ever class video meeting on Thursday. It was really great to see and hear you all πŸ™‚! We'll do more of those for sure. Stay tuned, and check ✅ your email for the next meeting invite. In the meantime, send me a Google Hangouts text or an email to say what is your preferred time to meet next Thursday.

-Reading πŸ“š: Read Chapters 20-22 in Holes today, pages 88-100. Write your own titles for each chapter on the yellow Chapter Title sheet.

I know some students may be a bit behind in reading this novel. If you're one of them, take some time to get caught up this weekend. You can always read along with the audio book 🎧YouTube link to help.

-Science πŸ¦…πŸ¦‰πŸ¦: Continue your Backyard BirdWatching each day this week with a "Bird of the Day" entry into your Bird ID Log. See Monday's Science post for more info and examples. Please share your Bird of the Day log with me when you have at least five (5) bird species listed. If you're not up to 5 yet, keep going over the weekend. With this nice warm weather, new kinds of birds are showing up in Taos every day.

-Spelling and Vocabulary: Written work is due via Google Docs if you haven't already shared it. Have a parent give you a paper quiz, or take a quiz online at Spelling City.

-Main Math Group➕➖✖➗: Watch the Module 5, Lesson 23 YouTube videoπŸ“Ί in the links, adding and multiplying unit fractions using a visual model. It may help to watch the video a second time if you're having trouble. Then, complete the Lesson 23 Problem Set p. 117-118.  Skip the Homework pages, and go on to IXL. Parents, please see the video lesson and/or the Eureka Parent Tip Sheet in the links if you need support (this is Module 5, Topics E and F).  Spend 20 minutes practicing IXL skills in Sections R and S.   S1 is a very good choice today πŸ‘.

-Math Un-Group: Skip Lesson 13. Watch the video πŸ“Ί for Module 6, Lesson 14. Complete the problem set p. 77-78. Skip the homework pages if this skill makes sense to you. Then, spend 30 minutes working on IXL skills in Sections T and U.  Parents, please see the video lesson and/or the Eureka Parent Tip Sheet in the links if you need support (this is Module 6, Topics C and D).
Questions? Send them via email or google hangouts chat to me or Ms. Chrissy at cstreit@taoscharterschool.org

-PE πŸ’ͺπŸƒ‍♀️🀸‍♂️🀸‍♀️🚴‍♂️🚴‍♀️πŸ‘Ÿ: Don't forget to get out and EXERCISE every day. Keep track of your minutes on Coach's Activity Log that he emailed out to parents.
