Dear 4th Grade Families, -You probably already know that our school calendar has changed slightly, and students will now be returning to school on Monday, January 9.    -Friday, January 6 is now a remote learning day. I'll be assigning a few hours on-line work for students to do using their accounts at IXL Math, and Lexia Core 5 Reading, and other sources. That morning, students can check here on our class blog for those assignments if possible.  -Our TCS Ski and Snowboard will begin on Tuesday, January 10. On those Tuesdays, students should be at school, ready to load the bus at  7:30 a.m . TSV provides their ski or snowboard gear, including a helmet. Kids need their own jacket, snowpants, goggles, and mittens or ski gloves. They'll need to bring their own lunch and snacks, or a credit card to buy food at the TSV cafeteria, which does not accept cash.  Please pick students up at   5:00 pm  at school on those 5 Tuesdays. Bus fee is  $35 . Please send a check or cash in on Mon

Welcome to the 4th Grade Blog!

Hello to all the incoming 4th grade students and parents at Taos Charter! I hope you've all have had a fantastic summer break. I really enjoyed mine too, but I'm glad to be back working in the classroom and excited to kick off another school year with this new group of kids. School starts Wednesday, August 10th at 8:15 AM. Fourth grade supply lists are available in the office or at the TCS website in the "For Parents" section. It's not necessary for everyone to have all the supplies on the first day. Pencils, folders, and composition books are the most important items. Until then, get outside, have some fun, and make the most of your last day of break. I'll see you bright and early on Wednesday! Thanks for taking the time to find and read our 4th grade blog! Please be sure to bookmark it into your links. -Mr. Michael Bonner email: mbonner@taoscharterschool.org
