 Good morning, fourth grade! 🌞

-Reading 📚:   1. Did you actually read p. 5-22 in the book "Moonwalk, The First Trip to the Moon"?  If not, do that first.

2. Then, spend 20 minutes working on skills in your level of Lexia Core 5. Let me know when you complete a level, and I'll email you your hard-earned AWARD CERTIFICATE 👏🏆 🎆 😁👍. Also, let me know if you get stuck on a certain skill. I can help!

 -Math➕➖⨉➗ : 1. Did you really finish p. 263-264, #6-21 in your math book, all about working with factors?

2. Then, spend 20 minutes practicing the starred skills ⭐ in section D of IXL Math (D7, D8, and D9). It's all about factors. You'll need to have a whiteboard or scrap paper handy to solve the problems.

-PE 🏃🏀🏊🏂🏈🎿🎾🎯💪💓: Get outside for some exercise, and keep moving for 20 minutes or more. Get that heart rate up! Keep track of your activity using Coach's Activity Log. See his new Google Classroom for more info and activities. Questions? Email Coach at bvannevel@taoscharterschool.org

-Spanish: Today we will not have Spanish class, due to the testing of some of the middle school students. Please check the rockalingua link, you can listen and watch any song you like and don't forget to play the games too, have fun. Also, you can spend 20 minutes working at DuoLingo! Questions? Welcome to the TCS 4th Grade Blog!

Hello to all the incoming 4th grade students and parents at Taos Charter! I hope you've all have had a fantastic summer break. I really enjoyed mine too, but I'm glad to be back working in the classroom and excited to kick off another school year with this new group of kids. School starts Monday, August 17th at 8:15 AM. Fourth grade supply lists are available in the office or at the TCS website in the "For Parents" section. It's not necessary for everyone to have all the supplies on the first day. Pencils, folders, and composition books are the most important items. Until then, get outside, have some fun, and make the most of your last days of break. I'll see you bright and early on Monday! Our TCS Welcome Back Pot-Luck is Friday, August 14th from 5:30 to 7:00pm if you can make it. Thanks for taking the time to find and read our 4th grade blog!
