-Math➕➖⨉➗ : Spend 20 minutes practicing the starred skills ⭐ in section F of IXL Math (F1, F2, F4). You'll need to have a whiteboard or scrap paper handy to solve the problems.

-Reading 📚 :1. Write a short summary for Chapter 29 of Drita, My Homegirl that we read together in class today. 

2. Then, read chapters 30-32 (p. 121-135), completing the novel. Be sure write a short chapter summary for each on your purple summary sheet.

-Spelling and Vocabulary: Spend 20 minutes continuing on this week's written work, which is set up for you to do online this week using Google Classroom.You can use Vocabulary A-Z to help you find definitions (Flashcard activity in the Vocabulary section), and to use the games and activities to practice this week's list.

-Digital Lunch Table for Tuesday at 11:30 with Greta 🌮🥡🥗🥪🍎🥑: Justin, Lyla, Natalia, Colin, Vivian, Gianna, and Rio.

-Tuesday check-in group with Coach and Greta is at 1:10 for Colin, Gianna, Daniel V., Loveah, and Sophia. See you there! -Math Review Group meets at 2:10 today for James, Avran, Loveah, Natalia, Gianna, and Daniel V.

Welcome to the TCS 4th Grade Blog!

Hello to all the incoming 4th grade students and parents at Taos Charter! I hope you've all have had a fantastic summer break. I really enjoyed mine too, but I'm glad to be back working in the classroom and excited to kick off another school year with this new group of kids. School starts Monday, August 17th at 8:15 AM. Fourth grade supply lists are available in the office or at the TCS website in the "For Parents" section. It's not necessary for everyone to have all the supplies on the first day. Pencils, folders, and composition books are the most important items. Until then, get outside, have some fun, and make the most of your last days of break. I'll see you bright and early on Monday! Our TCS Welcome Back Pot-Luck is Friday, August 14th from 5:30 to 7:00pm if you can make it. Thanks for taking the time to find and read our 4th grade blog!
