 -Math➕➖⨉➗ :  Spend 20 minutes each day using IXL Math practicing those starred skills in section A.

-Reading📚 : Spend 20 minutes each day working on skills in your level of Lexia Core 5.

-Spelling and Vocabulary: Spend about 20 minutes each day starting your weekly written spelling work. See the instructions below. This work is not due until Friday, so you don't have to finish it all today. Just get started and do some part of it each day. 

-Science🐦🦅🦃 : Get outside and try to identify one bird species per day. See the directions below. 

-Thursday's Class Meeting will start at 8:30 a.m.  Set those watches ⌚ so you won't be late!

Welcome to the TCS 4th Grade Blog!

Hello to all the incoming 4th grade students and parents at Taos Charter! I hope you've all have had a fantastic summer break. I really enjoyed mine too, but I'm glad to be back working in the classroom and excited to kick off another school year with this new group of kids. School starts Monday, August 17th at 8:15 AM. Fourth grade supply lists are available in the office or at the TCS website in the "For Parents" section. It's not necessary for everyone to have all the supplies on the first day. Pencils, folders, and composition books are the most important items. Until then, get outside, have some fun, and make the most of your last days of break. I'll see you bright and early on Monday! Our TCS Welcome Back Pot-Luck is Friday, August 14th from 5:30 to 7:00pm if you can make it. Thanks for taking the time to find and read our 4th grade blog! You've found it, Mr. Bonner's Blog! This is my very first foray into this realm of communication, so check back for more soon as I start to figure it all out.
