 -Math➕➖⨉➗ :  Spend 20 minutes using IXL Math practicing those starred skills in section B.  Also follow the link that emailed you to get set up in Khan Academy in our class. 

-Reading📚 :Finish reading Chapter 3 of Superfudge, and write a chapter summary on the orange sheets. Spend 20 minutes working on skills in your level of Lexia Core 5.

-Spelling and Vocabulary: Written work is due Friday, so finish that up.

-Science🐦🦅🦃 : Get outside and try to identify one bird species per day. See the directions below. 

-Friday's Class Meeting will start at 8:30 a.m.  Set those watches ⌚ so you won't be late!  

-Materials Exchange: Our new math books have arrived at last! On Friday, September 11 we will have a materials pick-up/ drop off at school from 3:00 to 5:00 pm.  I'll have named bags set out on the sidewalk outside the gym/ cafeteria double doors. Parents can just drive up, find the bag for their child and pick it up.  I will also be collecting students' Bellwork and Spelling/Vocabulary Journals so I can check and grade their work. Please drop off those 2 Composition Books in the box that I'll put outside near the bags. Parents, let me know if you have any questions.

Good Morning 4th Grade 🌄! - Main Math Group ➕➖✖➗:  Finish up the Module 5 test.  Remember to  circle problems #1, #5, #7A, 7B, 7C. Those are from lessons that we skipped, and are EXTRA CREDIT items that are  optional . If you get them incorrect, they won't be counted. If you get them right, I'll give you Bonus Points.  When you complete the test, keep it somewhere safe. You'll be handing this in with your books and other materials on Thursday.  - Math Un-Group 𝝅 : Each day, spend 25 minutes working on IXL skills in 5th grade, sections A and B. - Reading  📚: Finish  filling out the Holes   Book Review Form   and answer the   3 Comprehension Questions  in Google Forms. You may use the book and your chapter titles to help. When you're satisfied that it's your   best work , submit it and I'll check your responses. You need to be logged in to your @taoscharterschool.org  gmail account for the link to work....

Welcome to the TCS 4th Grade Blog!

Hello to all the incoming 4th grade students and parents at Taos Charter! I hope you've all have had a fantastic summer break. I really enjoyed mine too, but I'm glad to be back working in the classroom and excited to kick off another school year with this new group of kids. School starts Monday, August 17th at 8:15 AM. Fourth grade supply lists are available in the office or at the TCS website in the "For Parents" section. It's not necessary for everyone to have all the supplies on the first day. Pencils, folders, and composition books are the most important items. Until then, get outside, have some fun, and make the most of your last days of break. I'll see you bright and early on Monday!
