For Tuesday and Wednesday

Dear 4th graders, This may seem like a lot of work at first look 😒, but remember, this is for 2 days: Tuesday and Wednesday 😊. Also, I don't expect for anyone to do it all in one sitting. Instead take it in 20 minutes chunks, and then take a Brain Break 🧠, and come back later for another 20 minutes, and so on.

-Written Spelling/ Vocabulary work is due Thursday 🖉.  See the list and instructions below in the previous post. Be sure to get a dictionary definition for each, even if you already are familiar with the word.

-Spelling City: Each day, spend 20 minutes using the games and activities to practice this week's spelling list on Spelling City with your new account. If you're logged in to Google, then you should be logged in to Spelling City. You should not need to log in again.

-Reading 📚: Each day, spend 20 minutes practicing reading skills on Lexia Core 5. So that's 20 minutes on Tuesday, and then 20 minutes on Wednesday.  Also, If you want to read ahead and finish Chapter 10 in Tales of a Fourth Grade Nothing, do it! The online book is on the top shelf in our bitmoji classroom, and also right >>HERE<<.

-Math : Each day, spend 20 minutes practicing the starred skills in Section A of 4th grade in IXL Math (Skills A1 to A8, and A20-A23). So that's 20 minutes Tuesday and then another 20 minutes Wednesday. Higher IXL skills build from the lower ones, so please take them in order, unless you get stuck on one. Let me know if that happens. Also, if you get a question wrong, remember to read the explanation that IXL gives you. They are REALLY helpful!

-Wednesday: There's no live class scheduled, but let me know on Hangouts 💬 if you have questions or need help with something 🙋.

-Thursday's Class Meeting will start at 8:30 a.m.  Set those watches ⌚ so you won't be late!  Every day will start with new Bellwork, so have that journal and a pencil 🖉 ready to go. See you then! 🙂
