 -Math➕➖⨉➗ :  Complete all the items (both evens and odds) from pages 7-8 in your new enVision Math book.

-Reading📚 : Finish reading Chapter 5 of Superfudge, and write a chapter summary on the orange sheets. 

-Spelling and Vocabulary: This week's list is shown below. Spend 20 minutes getting started on the written work, which will be due Thursday.  This week's list is mostly made up of contractions. For the definitions of the contractions, just write the words that make up the contraction. For example, #3. wouldn't: would not.  #4. we're: we are,  and so on.

-Science🐦🦅🦃 : Bird Identification Logs are due today, if you haven't already turned yours in. So finish those up and share them with me in some form, either via Google Docs or have a parent take pics of your pages and email them to me.  Include 5 different species, and you can use the live cams on the All About Birds website to see birds from all over North America for one or two of the entries. I'll post all your Bird pics and info here on the class blog so everyone can see the birds you IDed! 

-Tuesday's Class Meeting will start at 8:30 a.m.  Set those watches ⌚ so you won't be late!

Welcome to the TCS 4th Grade Blog!

Hello to all the incoming 4th grade students and parents at Taos Charter! I hope you've all have had a fantastic summer break. I really enjoyed mine too, but I'm glad to be back working in the classroom and excited to kick off another school year with this new group of kids. School starts Monday, August 17th at 8:15 AM. Fourth grade supply lists are available in the office or at the TCS website in the "For Parents" section. It's not necessary for everyone to have all the supplies on the first day. Pencils, folders, and composition books are the most important items. Until then, get outside, have some fun, and make the most of your last days of break. I'll see you bright and early on Monday! Our TCS Welcome Back Pot-Luck is Friday, August 14th from 5:30 to 7:00pm if you can make it. Thanks for taking the time to find and read our 4th grade blog! You've found it, Mr. Bonner's Blog! This is my very first foray into this realm of communication, so check back for more soon as I start to figure it all out.
