-Math➕➖⨉➗ :  Spend 20 minute practicing the starred fraction skills in Section O. Have a whiteboard or scrap paper handy to help you work out problems when you need it.  

-Reading 📚 : 1. Read Chapters 16-17 in Sing Down the Moon, p. 75-84, and write a chapter title for each.  You may read farther if you want. Feel free to use the YouTube audio book recording, and read along in your copy of the novel.

2. Read all the articles from the March 1 edition of Scholastic News that we started in class today. Answer the comprehension questions on the last page.

-Spelling and Vocabulary: Spend 20 minutes continuing on this week's written work, which is assigned to do online using Google Classroom. Use the Kids' Dictionary, or the Flashcards Activity at Vocabulary A-Z to help with definitions for this week's list, which is named 03/08/2021.

-Digital Lunch Table for Tuesday is at 11:30 with Greta 🌮🥡🥗🥪🍎🥑: Eric, Vivian, Quin, Natalia, James, Gianna, Olivia.

-Tuesday check-in group with Coach and Greta is at 1:10 for Natalia, Gianna, and Sophia. See you there!

-Math Review Group meets at 2:00 today for James, Avran, Loveah, Natalia, Gianna, and Daniel V.

Welcome to the TCS 4th Grade Blog!

Hello to all the incoming 4th grade students and parents at Taos Charter! I hope you've all have had a fantastic summer break. I really enjoyed mine too, but I'm glad to be back working in the classroom and excited to kick off another school year with this new group of kids. School starts Monday, August 17th at 8:15 AM. Fourth grade supply lists are available in the office or at the TCS website in the "For Parents" section. It's not necessary for everyone to have all the supplies on the first day. Pencils, folders, and composition books are the most important items. Until then, get outside, have some fun, and make the most of your last days of break. I'll see you bright and early on Monday! Our TCS Welcome Back Pot-Luck is Friday, August 14th from 5:30 to 7:00pm if you can make it. Thanks for taking the time to find and read our 4th grade blog!
