-Math➕➖⨉➗ : Spend 20 minutes practicing the ⭐newly-starred⭐ skills in Section P of IXL Math on decomposing and adding fractions with like denominators.

-Reading ๐Ÿ“š: Spend 20 minutes working on skills in your level of Lexia Core 5. Let me know when you complete a level, and I'll email you your hard-earned AWARD CERTIFICATE ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ† ๐ŸŽ† ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ‘. Also, let me know if you get stuck on a certain skill. I can help!

-Spelling and Vocabulary: Finish up this week's written work, assigned for you to do online at Google Classroom. Use the Kids' Dictionary, or the Flashcards Activity at Vocabulary A-Z to help with definitions for this week's list. This work is due by Thursday at 5:00 PM.

-Current Events: Check out the Scholastic News link for articles and activities from current or past issues. Your password: dipfun8861

-PE ๐Ÿƒ๐Ÿ€๐ŸŠ๐Ÿ‚๐Ÿˆ๐ŸŽฟ๐ŸŽพ๐ŸŽฏ๐Ÿ’ช๐Ÿ’“: Get outside for some exercise, and keep moving for 20 minutes or more. Get that heart rate up! Keep track of your activity using Coach's Activity Log. -Spanish: There's no Zoom Spanish lesson today. But the whole class will meet on Thursday, April 1 at 9:30 AM on the ZOOM link posted on Senora Molina's Google Classroom.

-Math Review Group meets at 10:00 AM today (Wednesday) for James, Avran, Loveah, Natalia, Gianna, and Daniel V. on our usual Google Meet link.

-Reminder: On Thursday, April 1, I'm looking forward to seeing Lucas, Justin, Teya, Sophie, and Daniel V. at school for our in-person orientation! It's from 8:10 AM to 1:50 PM. All you need to bring is a lunch ๐Ÿฅช๐ŸŒฎ๐ŸŽ๐Ÿ‡, a water bottle๐ŸงŠ๐Ÿผ, and a couple masks ๐Ÿ˜ท๐Ÿ˜ท. Wear comfortable clothes ๐Ÿ‘–๐Ÿงข๐Ÿ•ถ️ and sturdy shoes ๐Ÿงฆ๐Ÿ‘Ÿ๐Ÿฅพ, because we'll probably take a nature walk ๐Ÿœ️๐Ÿšถ๐Ÿž️ in the afternoon! ๐ŸŒ„๐Ÿ‘ฃ๐Ÿ‘ฃ๐Ÿ‘ฃ๐Ÿ‘ฃ๐Ÿพ๐Ÿพ๐Ÿ‘ฃ๐ŸŒ„

Good Morning 4th Grade ๐ŸŒ„! - Main Math Group ➕➖✖➗:  Finish up the Module 5 test.  Remember to  circle problems #1, #5, #7A, 7B, 7C. Those are from lessons that we skipped, and are EXTRA CREDIT items that are  optional . If you get them incorrect, they won't be counted. If you get them right, I'll give you Bonus Points.  When you complete the test, keep it somewhere safe. You'll be handing this in with your books and other materials on Thursday.  - Math Un-Group ๐… : Each day, spend 25 minutes working on IXL skills in 5th grade, sections A and B. - Reading  ๐Ÿ“š: Finish  filling out the Holes   Book Review Form   and answer the   3 Comprehension Questions  in Google Forms. You may use the book and your chapter titles to help. When you're satisfied that it's your   best work , submit it and I'll check your responses. Welcome to the TCS 4th Grade Blog!

Hello to all the incoming 4th grade students and parents at Taos Charter! I hope you've all have had a fantastic summer break. I really enjoyed mine too, but I'm glad to be back working in the classroom and excited to kick off another school year with this new group of kids. School starts Monday, August 17th at 8:15 AM. Fourth grade supply lists are available in the office or at the TCS website in the "For Parents" section. It's not necessary for everyone to have all the supplies on the first day. Pencils, folders, and composition books are the most important items. Until then, get outside, have some fun, and make the most of your last days of break. I'll see you bright and early on Monday! Our TCS Welcome Back Pot-Luck is Friday, August 14th from 5:30 to 7:00pm if you can make it. Thanks for taking the time to find and read our 4th grade blog!
