 -Math➕➖⨉➗ : Spend 30 minutes on the starred fraction skills ⭐ in section O of IXL Math. You'll need to have a whiteboard or scrap paper handy to solve some of the problems. Work carefully - I'm using your IXL results from this section for the Chapter 8 assessment.

-Reading 📚 :Read Chapters 22 and 23, p. 105-118 in Sing Down the Moon , completing the novel. Then write your chapter titles on the blue sheet. 
-History 🇺🇸: Watch the attached videos about the life, work, and accomplishments of Dolores Huerta.
-Current Events: Watch this week's Nightly News Kids' Edition.

-Have a great Spring Break, and stay safe out there!

Welcome to the TCS 4th Grade Blog!

Hello to all the incoming 4th grade students and parents at Taos Charter! I hope you've all have had a fantastic summer break. I really enjoyed mine too, but I'm glad to be back working in the classroom and excited to kick off another school year with this new group of kids. School starts Monday, August 17th at 8:15 AM. Fourth grade supply lists are available in the office or at the TCS website in the "For Parents" section. It's not necessary for everyone to have all the supplies on the first day. Pencils, folders, and composition books are the most important items. Until then, get outside, have some fun, and make the most of your last days of break. I'll see you bright and early on Monday! Our TCS Welcome Back Pot-Luck is Friday, August 14th from 5:30 to 7:00pm if you can make it. Thanks for taking the time to find and read our 4th grade blog!
