 Good morning 4th Grade! 🐸🐶🤠🐷🐰


This week, I'll be working in our actual classroom, cleaning 🧹, sanitizing 🧼🧽 , and preparing 💡✍️ to resume in-person and remote classes 🛤️. During this time, we will not be having live online classes. Instead, students will participate in online activities 💻 to get ready for the transition.

Also, I'm assigning everyone 30 minutes of Lexia Core 5 Reading, and 30 minutes of IXL Math practice each day this week.

⭐We've added a new Google Classroom called "COVID-19 Re-Entry Training" for TCS students in 4th and 5th grades to use for online activities, training, and info about health and safety procedures 😷🙌🔬🩺. Use the link I posted in our GC to join and access that site. You can start completing those activities this morning! 🌄 You should work on the assigned COVID-19 Safety activities for about 90 minutes each day this week.

Welcome to the TCS 4th Grade Blog!

Hello to all the incoming 4th grade students and parents at Taos Charter! I hope you've all have had a fantastic summer break. I really enjoyed mine too, but I'm glad to be back working in the classroom and excited to kick off another school year with this new group of kids. School starts Monday, August 17th at 8:15 AM. Fourth grade supply lists are available in the office or at the TCS website in the "For Parents" section. It's not necessary for everyone to have all the supplies on the first day. Pencils, folders, and composition books are the most important items. Until then, get outside, have some fun, and make the most of your last days of break. I'll see you bright and early on Monday! Our TCS Welcome Back Pot-Luck is Friday, August 14th from 5:30 to 7:00pm if you can make it. Thanks for taking the time to find and read our 4th grade blog!
