 -Math➕➖⨉➗ : Complete p. 311-312 in your math book on comparing fractions.

-Reading 📚 : 1. Read chapters 11-13 in Sing Down the Moon, p. 49-62. You can continue farther into the novel if you want! If you use the YouTube audio book to read along to, chapter 11 starts at 1:22:16.

-History 🇺🇸: Read the attached comics and watch the linked videos on the history of Women's Suffrage and the fight for gender equality.

-Current Events: Watch this week's Nightly News Kids' Edition.

-Art Lunch 🎨🥑🍉🧀🥪🥜🥙🦞🍣🥧 with Zoe is today at 11:30 for: Quin, Eva, Eric, Teya, Colin, and Kiana.

-Have a great weekend! See you Monday morning at 8:30.

Welcome to the TCS 4th Grade Blog!

Hello to all the incoming 4th grade students and parents at Taos Charter! I hope you've all have had a fantastic summer break. I really enjoyed mine too, but I'm glad to be back working in the classroom and excited to kick off another school year with this new group of kids. School starts Monday, August 17th at 8:15 AM. Fourth grade supply lists are available in the office or at the TCS website in the "For Parents" section. It's not necessary for everyone to have all the supplies on the first day. Pencils, folders, and composition books are the most important items. Until then, get outside, have some fun, and make the most of your last days of break. I'll see you bright and early on Monday! Our TCS Welcome Back Pot-Luck is Friday, August 14th from 5:30 to 7:00pm if you can make it. Thanks for taking the time to find and read our 4th grade blog!
