 -Math➕➖⨉➗ : Complete p. 303-304 on using multiplication to create equivalent fractions.

-Reading 📚 :  Read Chapters 7 and 8 in Sing Down the Moon, p. 28-37 and write a chapter title for each. You may read farther if you want. On the YouTube audio book recording, chapter 7 starts at 44:49. If you use the audio book, be sure to read along in your copy of the novel.

-Spelling and Vocabulary: Spend 20 minutes continuing on this week's written work, which is assigned to do online using Google Classroom. Use the Kids' Dictionary, or the Flashcards Activity at Vocabulary A-Z to help with definitions for this week's list.

-Digital Lunch Table for Tuesday is at 11:30 with Greta🌮🥡🥗🥪🍎🥑: Vivian, Loveah, Daniel B., Clover, Rio, Sophie, and Zaria. -Tuesday check-in group with Coach and Greta is at 1:10 for Natalia, Gianna, and Sophia. See you there! -Math Review Group meets at 2:10 today for James, Avran, Loveah, Natalia, Gianna, and Daniel V. -Art bag pick-up is at TCS today from 1:30 to 4:00. Please remind your parents.

Welcome to the TCS 4th Grade Blog!

Hello to all the incoming 4th grade students and parents at Taos Charter! I hope you've all have had a fantastic summer break. I really enjoyed mine too, but I'm glad to be back working in the classroom and excited to kick off another school year with this new group of kids. School starts Monday, August 17th at 8:15 AM. Fourth grade supply lists are available in the office or at the TCS website in the "For Parents" section. It's not necessary for everyone to have all the supplies on the first day. Pencils, folders, and composition books are the most important items. Until then, get outside, have some fun, and make the most of your last days of break. I'll see you bright and early on Monday! Our TCS Welcome Back Pot-Luck is Friday, August 14th from 5:30 to 7:00pm if you can make it. Thanks for taking the time to find and read our 4th grade blog!
