 Good Morning 4th Grade! 🌞

-Math➕➖⨉➗ :  Spend 15 minutes practicing starred skills in Section D of IXL Math. Use scrap paper or a whiteboard to solve the problems (D37, 38, 39). If you've already mastered those 3, you are all set!

-Reading📚 : Spend 20 minutes practicing skills in your level of Lexia Core 5.  Let me know when you Level-Up, and I'll email the certificates!

-Spelling and Vocabulary:  Finish up the weekly written work, which is due Thursday. 

-PE 🏃🏀🏊🏂🏈🎿🎾🎯💪💓: Get outside for some exercise, and keep moving for 20 minutes or more. Get that heart rate up! Keep track of your activity using Coach's Activity Log. See his Google Classroom for more info and activities. Questions? Email Coach at bvannevel@taoscharterschool.org

-Spanish: The class will meet with Senora Molina at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday on the Google Classroom Meet link found at HER Google Classroom. If you have any questions, please email her at: rmolina@taoscharterschool.org 

-Art!🎨: See our Google Classroom for the water-color art activity from Ms. Katie. Check it out, and complete it using the paints and materials she sent home to you during our last materials exchange.  Here's her message to you from Tuesday: "I hope you are all getting into the watercolor techniques. After the moons come the sunsets!"   Try to finish one or two by Friday, and if possible, email a pic of your completed paintings to her at kwoodall@taoscharterschool.org

-Send a Chromebook selfie!  Help me update our bitmoji classroom here on our class blog by sending me a picture of yourself to add to the room.  (Thanks to the 15 students who've shared one already. If you're not sure how to do that, just ask one of those students on Hangouts.)

-Let me know on Google Hangouts if you need help. 

-Thursday's Class Meeting starts at 8:30 a.m. See you then 😊.

Welcome to the TCS 4th Grade Blog!

Hello to all the incoming 4th grade students and parents at Taos Charter! I hope you've all have had a fantastic summer break. I really enjoyed mine too, but I'm glad to be back working in the classroom and excited to kick off another school year with this new group of kids. School starts Monday, August 17th at 8:15 AM. Fourth grade supply lists are available in the office or at the TCS website in the "For Parents" section. It's not necessary for everyone to have all the supplies on the first day. Pencils, folders, and composition books are the most important items. Until then, get outside, have some fun, and make the most of your last days of break. I'll see you bright and early on Monday! Our TCS Welcome Back Pot-Luck is Friday, August 14th from 5:30 to 7:00pm if you can make it. Thanks for taking the time to find and read our 4th grade blog! Welcome Parents and Students!

You've found it, Mr. Bonner's Blog! This is my very first foray into this realm of communication, so check back for more soon as I start to figure it all out. It's my plan to use this space to post weekly spelling lists, math assignments, project information, announcements, and educational links.
