 -Math➕➖⨉➗ :  Complete p. 161-162 in your math book (skip #10). 

-Spelling and Vocabulary: Finish up this week's written work if you haven't already. Spend 15 minutes on the games and activities at Spelling City to practice the words and definitions. Take a practice quiz to get ready for our Friday quiz. 

-Reading/ History: 1. Read pages 236-237 about the retreat from New York, Washington crossing the Delaware, and the Battles of Princeton and Trenton, NJ. Also watch the linked YouTube videos on Google Classroom.

2. In your email, read the list of names for our "Revolutionary Trading Cards" project. Choose 3 who you would be interested in learning more about. Print the form if you can, or just write down those 3 names and a sheet of paper for Friday. Use the links here at the class blog to find out more, but you don't need to start taking any notes yet. Just make your top 3 choices.

-Digital Lunch Table for Tuesday at 11:30 with Tara. Invited today are Natalia, Luciano, Sophie, Teya, Daniel V., and Eric.

-Math Review Group meets at 2:10 today for Zaria, Dalton, Matthew, Loveah, Natalia, and Gianna.
-Friday's Class Meeting will start at 8:30 a.m. See you then 😃.

Welcome to the TCS 4th Grade Blog!

Hello to all the incoming 4th grade students and parents at Taos Charter! I hope you've all have had a fantastic summer break. I really enjoyed mine too, but I'm glad to be back working in the classroom and excited to kick off another school year with this new group of kids. School starts Monday, August 17th at 8:15 AM. Fourth grade supply lists are available in the office or at the TCS website in the "For Parents" section. It's not necessary for everyone to have all the supplies on the first day. Pencils, folders, and composition books are the most important items. Until then, get outside, have some fun, and make the most of your last days of break. I'll see you bright and early on Monday! Our TCS Welcome Back Pot-Luck is Friday, August 14th from 5:30 to 7:00pm if you can make it. Thanks for taking the time to find and read our 4th grade blog!
