 -Math➕➖⨉➗ : Solve the multi-step word problems on p. 156 of your math book. Take your time, read each problem 2-3 times, and work carefully.  If you need help, come back to our Meet link at 12:00 today, and we'll work together on it.

-Reading/ History 📚 : 1. Read p. 227-229 in the History Book about the Battles of Breeds and Bunker Hill, and the early part of the Revolution. 
2. Double check that you've completed all the history questions from Sets A, B, and C in your Reading Journal. I'll be collecting those next week to grade.
-Send a Chromebook selfie!  Help me update our bitmoji classroom on our class blog by sending me a picture of yourself to add to the room.  I'll try to post those this weekend. (Thanks to Eva, Teya, and Natalia for sending those in already. If you're not sure how to do that, just ask one of those 3 students on Hangouts.)
-Current Events: Watch this week's Nightly News Kids' Edition.

Welcome to the TCS 4th Grade Blog!

Hello to all the incoming 4th grade students and parents at Taos Charter! I hope you've all have had a fantastic summer break. I really enjoyed mine too, but I'm glad to be back working in the classroom and excited to kick off another school year with this new group of kids. School starts Monday, August 17th at 8:15 AM. Fourth grade supply lists are available in the office or at the TCS website in the "For Parents" section. It's not necessary for everyone to have all the supplies on the first day. Pencils, folders, and composition books are the most important items. Until then, get outside, have some fun, and make the most of your last days of break. I'll see you bright and early on Monday! Our TCS Welcome Back Pot-Luck is Friday, August 14th from 5:30 to 7:00pm if you can make it. Thanks for taking the time to find and read our 4th grade blog!
