 -Math➕➖⨉➗ : Finish the Topic 4 Test by completing p. 163-164. (Part D on p. 164 is optional extra credit.)

-Reading/ History 📚 : 1. Find information, read, and take notes about the person you chose today for your Revolutionary Biography Trading Card project. Use the top links in the class bog. I'll give you more info about the specifics of the project on Monday. For now, just learn all you can about him or her, and keep track of what you find. 

2. Are you all caught up with completing question Sets A, B, C, and D in your Reading Journal? If not, finish those up.
-Send a Chromebook selfie!  Help me update our bitmoji classroom on our class blog by sending me a picture of yourself on Hangouts to add to the room.  I'll try to post those this weekend. (Thanks to everyone who's sent those in already.)
-Current Events: Watch this week's Nightly News Kids' Edition.

Welcome to the TCS 4th Grade Blog!

Hello to all the incoming 4th grade students and parents at Taos Charter! I hope you've all have had a fantastic summer break. I really enjoyed mine too, but I'm glad to be back working in the classroom and excited to kick off another school year with this new group of kids. School starts Monday, August 17th at 8:15 AM. Fourth grade supply lists are available in the office or at the TCS website in the "For Parents" section. It's not necessary for everyone to have all the supplies on the first day. Pencils, folders, and composition books are the most important items. Until then, get outside, have some fun, and make the most of your last days of break. I'll see you bright and early on Monday! Our TCS Welcome Back Pot-Luck is Friday, August 14th from 5:30 to 7:00pm if you can make it. Thanks for taking the time to find and read our 4th grade blog! You've found it, Mr. Bonner's Blog! This is my very first foray into this realm of communication, so check back for more soon as I start to figure it all out. It's my plan to use this space to post weekly spelling lists, math assignments, project information, announcements, and educational links.
