 -Math➕➖⨉➗ :  Complete p. 191-192, #4-16 EVENS in your math book using the long division  algorithm: Divide > Multiply > Subtract > Bring Down > (repeat)... 

-Spelling and Vocabulary: Finish up this week's written work if you haven't already. Spend 20 minutes on the games and activities using your new account at Vocabulary A-Z to practice the words and definitions. Take a practice quiz to get ready for our Friday quiz.

-Reading 📚: Read Chapters 5-6 of the novel Drita, My Homegirl p. 24-34. Write a short chapter summary for each on your purple summary sheet.

-Digital Lunch Table for Thursday at 11:30 with Tara 🌮🥡🥗🥪🍎🥑: James, Eva, Zaria, Luciano, Eric, Gianna, and Lucas. -MAP Math test finish-up session is today at 12:30 for Olivia, Sophia, Kiana, Avran, Matthew, Quin, James, Natalia, and Sophie. -Math Review Group meets at 2:10 today for Zaria, Dalton, Avran, Loveah, Natalia, Daniel V., and Gianna.

Welcome to the TCS 4th Grade Blog!

Hello to all the incoming 4th grade students and parents at Taos Charter! I hope you've all have had a fantastic summer break. I really enjoyed mine too, but I'm glad to be back working in the classroom and excited to kick off another school year with this new group of kids. School starts Monday, August 17th at 8:15 AM. Fourth grade supply lists are available in the office or at the TCS website in the "For Parents" section. It's not necessary for everyone to have all the supplies on the first day. Pencils, folders, and composition books are the most important items. Until then, get outside, have some fun, and make the most of your last days of break. I'll see you bright and early on Monday! Our TCS Welcome Back Pot-Luck is Friday, August 14th from 5:30 to 7:00pm if you can make it. Thanks for taking the time to find and read our 4th grade blog!
