 -Math➕➖⨉➗ : Spend 20 minutes working on skills E6 and E10 IXL Math. Use a whiteboard or scrap paper to solve using the Long Division Algorithm you learned about today: 

Divide > Multiply > Subtract > Bring Down > (repeat)...

-Reading 📚 : 1.Finish reading all the articles in the December 7 Scholastic News that we started in class. Answer the questions on the back page.

2. Spend 20 minute practicing skills on your level of Lexia Core 5. 

-Spelling and Vocabulary:  Go to Vocabulary A-Z. Spend 15 minutes trying the games and activities, then take a QUIZ there.

-Send a Chromebook selfie!  Help me update our bitmoji classroom on our class blog by sending me a picture of yourself on Hangouts to add to the room.  I'll try to post those this weekend. (Thanks to everyone who's sent those in already.)
-Current Events: Watch this week's Nightly News Kids' Edition.
-Have a great weekend 😃. I'll see you Monday at 8:30.

Good Morning 4th Grade 🌄! - Main Math Group ➕➖✖➗:  Finish up the Module 5 test.  Remember to  circle problems #1, #5, #7A, 7B, 7C. Those are from lessons that we skipped, and are EXTRA CREDIT items that are  optional . If you get them incorrect, they won't be counted. If you get them right, I'll give you Bonus Points.  When you complete the test, keep it somewhere safe. You'll be handing this in with your books and other materials on Thursday.  - Math Un-Group 𝝅 : Each day, spend 25 minutes working on IXL skills in 5th grade, sections A and B. - Reading  📚: Finish  filling out the Holes   Book Review Form   and answer the   3 Comprehension Questions  in Google Forms. You may use the book and your chapter titles to help. When you're satisfied that it's your   best work , submit it and I'll check your responses. You need to be logged in to your @taoscharterschool.org  gmail account for the link to work....

Welcome to the TCS 4th Grade Blog!

Hello to all the incoming 4th grade students and parents at Taos Charter! I hope you've all have had a fantastic summer break. I really enjoyed mine too, but I'm glad to be back working in the classroom and excited to kick off another school year with this new group of kids. School starts Monday, August 17th at 8:15 AM. Fourth grade supply lists are available in the office or at the TCS website in the "For Parents" section. It's not necessary for everyone to have all the supplies on the first day. Pencils, folders, and composition books are the most important items. Until then, get outside, have some fun, and make the most of your last days of break. I'll see you bright and early on Monday! Our TCS Welcome Back Pot-Luck is Friday, August 14th from 5:30 to 7:00pm if you can make it. Thanks for taking the time to find and read our 4th grade blog!
