--Reading 📚 :1. Read Chapters 10 and 11 in Drita, My Homegirl p. 48-54, and write a short chapter summary for each on your purple chapter summary sheet.

2. Read these Time For Kids articles about the Presidential Inauguration. We'll discuss these in class on Friday.

-Spelling and Vocabulary: Spend 15 minutes on Vocabulary A-Z to practice this week's words and definitions. Take a practice quiz to get ready for our Friday quiz. If it asks you for your teachers's username, it's:  mbonner20
-Digital Lunch Table for Thursday at 11:30 with Tara 🌮🥡🥗🥪🍎🥑: Luciano, Kiana, Matthew, Olivia, Quin, and James. -MAP Reading test finish-up session is today at 12:15 for Daniel B, Dalton, Lyla, Eric, Sophia, Olivia, Kiana, and Natalia. -Thursday check-in group with Coach and Greta is at 1:10 for Colin, Gianna, Daniel V., Dalton, and Sophia. See you there! -Math Review Group meets at 2:10 today for Zaria, Dalton, Avran, Loveah, Natalia, Daniel V., and Gianna.

Welcome to the TCS 4th Grade Blog!

Hello to all the incoming 4th grade students and parents at Taos Charter! I hope you've all have had a fantastic summer break. I really enjoyed mine too, but I'm glad to be back working in the classroom and excited to kick off another school year with this new group of kids. School starts Monday, August 17th at 8:15 AM. Fourth grade supply lists are available in the office or at the TCS website in the "For Parents" section. It's not necessary for everyone to have all the supplies on the first day. Pencils, folders, and composition books are the most important items. Until then, get outside, have some fun, and make the most of your last days of break. I'll see you bright and early on Monday! Our TCS Welcome Back Pot-Luck is Friday, August 14th from 5:30 to 7:00pm if you can make it. Thanks for taking the time to find and read our 4th grade blog!
