Spelling and Vocabulary List for the week 8/24/20

 For each word on the list, your weekly written assignment is to do the following:

(For now, you can do all this with pencil and paper in your Spelling and Vocabulary Journal. Keep your written work as neat and organized as possible.) 1. Practice writing each word on the list 5 times. Be sure to spell it correctly each time! 2. Look up the definition of each word at dictionary.com which is linked below, and also in our Bitmoji classroom on the bottom shelf. Copy the definition you find there. 3. Use each word in a creative sentence that shows you know what the word means. The sentences can be funny or fictional. Please make them interesting to read! Here's this week's list: 1. harmony 2. hybrid 3. fiction 4. non-fiction 5. novel 6. Taos Charter School (this one will not appear in the dictionary) This written work is due on Thursday of each week. On Friday, we'll do a quiz. I'll tell you more about this during the week.
