For Thursday

 -Written Spelling/ Vocabulary work is due Thursday.  We ran out of time in class today, so I'll check that work on Friday. See the list and instructions below in the previous post. Be sure to get a dictionary definition for each, even if you already are familiar with the word.  We'll try a practice spelling quiz on Friday too. This is our first quiz, so it's just practice and doesn't count.

-Math:  Log in to IXL Math and spend 20 minutes practicing the ⭐starred skills⭐ in 4th Grade, Section A.

-Reading: Today, spend 20-30 minutes practicing reading skills on Lexia. So that's 20-30 minutes on Tuesday, and then 20-30 minutes on Wednesday.

-Digital Lunch Tables: For Thursday, I Invited: Lucas, Eric, Eva, Matthew, Quin, Loveah, Avran, Zaria, and Sophia. Hope you can all make it! We'll meet at 11:30 on our Google Classroom Meet Link, same one we use every day for class.    On Friday, I'll invite another small table group. These should be fun! 🍔🍎🍤🍜🍳🍴🌽🍉😄

-Friday's Class Meeting will start at 8:30 a.m.  Set those watches ⌚ so you won't be late!  Every day will start with new Bellwork, so have that journal and a pencil 🖉 ready to go. See you then! 🙂

Welcome to the TCS 4th Grade Blog!

Hello to all the incoming 4th grade students and parents at Taos Charter! I hope you've all have had a fantastic summer break. I really enjoyed mine too, but I'm glad to be back working in the classroom and excited to kick off another school year with this new group of kids. School starts Monday, August 17th at 8:15 AM. Fourth grade supply lists are available in the office or at the TCS website in the "For Parents" section. It's not necessary for everyone to have all the supplies on the first day. Pencils, folders, and composition books are the most important items. Until then, get outside, have some fun, and make the most of your last days of break. I'll see you bright and early on Monday! Our TCS Welcome Back Pot-Luck is Friday, August 14th from 5:30 to 7:00pm if you can make it. Thanks for taking the time to find and read our 4th grade blog!
