For each word on the list, your weekly written assignment is to do the following: (For now, you can do all this with pencil and paper in your Spelling and Vocabulary Journal. Keep your written work as neat and organized as possible.) 1. Practice writing each word on the list 5 times. Be sure to spell it correctly each time! 2. Look up the definition of each word in a dictionary or at Spelling City. Copy the definition you find there. Words often have more than one definition in the dictionary - just write one simple, clear definition for each word. 3. Use each word in a creative sentence that shows you know what the word means. The sentences can be funny or fictional. Please make them interesting to read! For the 2 Spanish words, write a short, simple sentence in SPANISH using the word. (Ask me or Mrs. Molina for help if you need it.)
