For Thursday:

 -Spelling and Vocabulary: Finish up this week's written work if you haven't already. Spend 15 minutes on the games and activities at Spelling City to practice the words and definitions. Take a practice quiz.

-Reading📚 :  1. Write a story summary for "Dona Sebastiana" in My Land Sings. Add Spanish words and definitions from the story into the list at the end. Use the glossary at the end oth e book to help with that. 2. Spend 20 minutes working on your level of Lexia Core 5 reading.

-Math➕➖⨉➗ :  Spend 20 minutes on IXL Math, practicing skills D1, D2, D4, D5.

-Reminder: Today, we will have a materials pick-up/ drop off at school from 3:00 to 5:00 pm for our class. Just like in September, I'll have named brown paper grocery bags with books and materials set out on the sidewalk outside the gym/ cafeteria double doors at the parking lot. Parents can just drive up anytime 3-5, find the bag for their child and pick it up.

I will also be collecting written work from the class to check and grade. Please put these materials into a named paper bag to drop off: 1. Bellwork Journal 2. Spelling/Vocabulary Journal 3. Superfudge novel and written work: Chapter summaries, book review, and comprehension questions (Please keep all that work in the ziplock bag with the novel). 4. My Land Sings book and story summaries sheets for the 4 stories we've read (Please keep those in the ziplock bag with the book). 5. Math book pages 73-76 (NOT the whole book - just those pages). 6. Any Wednesday art activities that you'd like to share with Ms. Katie (not required). Please make sure your name is on both journals and all written work. Let me know if you have any questions.
