-Both Math Groups➕➖✖➗: If you completed the Monday/ Tuesday work, there's no math assignment today.

Hi Everyone. Well, we are getting close to the end of this experimental chapter in school Spring of 2020. YAY!

I just wanted to let you know that I will be receiving images and artwork for this one last week only—
so if you have made something -in whatever media-and you want to turn it in, if you have done a self portrait of and kind,  if you can take a picture, send it to me this week.

Hello Students and families.  It's hard to believe, but our last week of school starts next week!  I hope everyone is staying safe and getting some exercise during these difficult times.  For the final week of school, we are going to have a virtual field day that you can do from home.  All activities are easy and require some basic household items, which most of you should have.  Here is how you participate in our virtual field day:

1. Use this link that I have provided below to navigate to the virtual field day website.   https://openphysed.org/fielddayvideos 
2. Watch the videos and choose 10 activities that you would like to try.  
3. After you try your 10 activities, use this scoresheet to record your scores.  Please return your scoresheet by Friday, May 22. https://openphysed.org/wp-content/uploads/2020/04/NFD-ScoreCard-Official-V2.docx
4. (Optional) Please consider using a camera to record your activities and then share your video recordings with your class.  Your teacher will let you know how to upload your videos! 
5. (Optional) As your classmates upload their videos, take time to watch your classmates' field day activities.

Good Morning 4th Grade πŸŒ„! - Main Math Group ➕➖✖➗:  Finish up the Module 5 test.  Remember to  circle problems #1, #5, #7A, 7B, 7C. Those are from lessons that we skipped, and are EXTRA CREDIT items that are  optional . If you get them incorrect, they won't be counted. If you get them right, I'll give you Bonus Points.  When you complete the test, keep it somewhere safe. You'll be handing this in with your books and other materials on Thursday.  - Math Un-Group 𝝅 : Each day, spend 25 minutes working on IXL skills in 5th grade, sections A and B. - Reading  πŸ“š: Finish  filling out the Holes   Book Review Form   and answer the   3 Comprehension Questions  in Google Forms. You may use the book and your chapter titles to help. When you're satisfied that it's your   best work , submit it and I'll check your responses. You need to be logged in to your @taoscharterschool.org  gmail account for the link to work....

Welcome to the TCS 4th Grade Blog!

Hello to all the incoming 4th grade students and parents at Taos Charter! I hope you've all have had a fantastic summer break. I really enjoyed mine too, but I'm glad to be back working in the classroom and excited to kick off another school year with this new group of kids. School starts Monday, August 17th at 8:15 AM. Fourth grade supply lists are available in the office or at the TCS website in the "For Parents" section. It's not necessary for everyone to have all the supplies on the first day. Pencils, folders, and composition books are the most important items. Until then, get outside, have some fun, and make the most of your last days of break. I'll see you bright and early on Monday! Our TCS Welcome Back Pot-Luck is Friday, August 14th from 5:30 to 7:00pm if you can make it. Thanks for taking the time to find and read our 4th grade blog!
