Report cards

Parents, 1st quarter progress reports will be sent home with students today. Please take some time to read and discuss the grades and comments with your son or daughter. For more info on Lexile reading range scores, see www.lexile.com

There's no school on Friday, October 28 for parent-teacher conferences. However, I am still home recovering from surgery, so I will not be able to meet with parents Friday. I plan to return to school on Tuesday, November 1, and I'm happy to set up conferences after school from 3-4 in the upcoming weeks. I’ve already scheduled after-school meetings with some of you, and I meet with some parents fairly regularly, so conferences are not mandatory for all students at this point. If I haven’t contacted you and you’d like to meet, please email me at mbonner@taoscharterschool.org to make an appointment.

Welcome to the TCS 4th Grade Blog!

Hello to all the incoming 4th grade students and parents at Taos Charter! I hope you've all have had a fantastic summer break. I really enjoyed mine too, but I'm glad to be back working in the classroom and excited to kick off another school year with this new group of kids. School starts Monday, August 17th at 8:15 AM. Fourth grade supply lists are available in the office or at the TCS website in the "For Parents" section. It's not necessary for everyone to have all the supplies on the first day. Pencils, folders, and composition books are the most important items. Until then, get outside, have some fun, and make the most of your last days of break. I'll see you bright and early on Monday! Our TCS Welcome Back Pot-Luck is Friday, August 14th from 5:30 to 7:00pm if you can make it. Thanks for taking the time to find and read our 4th grade blog! You've found it, Mr. Bonner's Blog! This is my very first foray into this realm of communication, so check back for more soon as I start to figure it all out.
