-Spelling and Vocabulary: Written work is due. Study for the practice quiz.

-Swim Lessons start Friday! Deliver the blue note to your parents, and ask them to fill out and sign the attached Town Waiver form (even if you already have one on file at the TYFC). Please bring that form back to school on Thursday, and keep the blue note at home for future Friday reminders.

-Deliver the "Reading for Education" note and packet that Mr. Jones gave you today. Kids and parents are welcome to participate in this fundraiser if you want to. Funds raised will go toward classroom supplies and activities. There are some great prizes too!

Welcome to the TCS 4th Grade Blog!

Hello to all the incoming 4th grade students and parents at Taos Charter! I hope you've all have had a fantastic summer break. I really enjoyed mine too, but I'm glad to be back working in the classroom and excited to kick off another school year with this new group of kids. School starts Monday, August 17th at 8:15 AM. Fourth grade supply lists are available in the office or at the TCS website in the "For Parents" section. It's not necessary for everyone to have all the supplies on the first day. Pencils, folders, and composition books are the most important items. Until then, get outside, have some fun, and make the most of your last days of break. I'll see you bright and early on Monday! Our TCS Welcome Back Pot-Luck is Friday, August 14th from 5:30 to 7:00pm if you can make it. Thanks for taking the time to find and read our 4th grade blog!
