Wednesday's Independent Work

 -Spelling and Vocabulary: Get started on the written work for this week's list. Your Spelling Journal is in the brown bag that went home today. The work will be due on Friday.

-Math: 1. Complete p. 47-48, #5 to 21 in your math book on addition. 

2. Spend 20 minutes working on the starred skills in IXL Math in grades 2 and 4. Use scrap paper to solve problems when you need it.

-Reading: Work 20 minutes on skills in your level of Lexia Core 5 Reading. If it asks for your teacher's email address, it's  mbonner@taoscharterschool.org

-I'm available this afternoon to answer questions or give any help if you need it. Just email me, and I'll get back to you.

-Our next online class will start on Thursday morning at 8:30 a.m. on Google Meet.  To find that link, go to our Google Classroom and click on the Meet link inside the green banner at the top left hand part of the page.

Welcome to the TCS 4th Grade Blog!

Hello to all the incoming 4th grade students and parents at Taos Charter! I hope you've all have had a fantastic summer break. I really enjoyed mine too, but I'm glad to be back working in the classroom and excited to kick off another school year with this new group of kids. School starts Monday, August 17th at 8:15 AM. Fourth grade supply lists are available in the office or at the TCS website in the "For Parents" section. It's not necessary for everyone to have all the supplies on the first day. Pencils, folders, and composition books are the most important items. Until then, get outside, have some fun, and make the most of your last days of break. I'll see you bright and early on Monday! Our TCS Welcome Back Pot-Luck is Friday, August 14th from 5:30 to 7:00pm if you can make it. Thanks for taking the time to find and read our 4th grade blog! You've found it, Mr. Bonner's Blog! This is my very first foray into this realm of communication, so check back for more soon as I start to figure it all out. It's my plan to use this space to post weekly spelling lists, math assignments, project information, announcements, and educational links.
