-Class clean-up Wednesday: Please bring in a cloth grocery bag to take home all of your personal supplies and materials so you can re-use them next year.

-EKiP Passes: Today all 4th graders went home with the Every Kid in a Park Pass Card, which entitles the whole family to FREE admission to any National Park in the USA, valid until August 31. Most national parks now cost $30-$35 per vehicle, but with the Pass they're all FREE for you. Use the the top links to plan out your summer adventures!

-On Thursday, we'll be doing Move-Up Day, Field Day for grades K-4, a Bike Safety Clinic from FIT Taos for 4th grade (which includes a special prize for each student who participates), and I'll give out final report cards. It's a full and fun last day of the school-year so don't miss out!

Hello to all the incoming 4th grade students and parents at Taos Charter! I hope you've all have had a fantastic summer break. I really enjoyed mine too, but I'm glad to be back working in the classroom and excited to kick off another school year with this new group of kids. School starts Monday, August 17th at 8:15 AM. Fourth grade supply lists are available in the office or at the TCS website in the "For Parents" section. It's not necessary for everyone to have all the supplies on the first day. Pencils, folders, and composition books are the most important items. Until then, get outside, have some fun, and make the most of your last days of break. I'll see you bright and early on Monday! Our TCS Welcome Back Pot-Luck is Friday, August 14th from 5:30 to 7:00pm if you can make it. Thanks for taking the time to find and read our 4th grade blog! You've found it, Mr. Bonner's Blog! This is my very first foray into this realm of communication, so check back for more soon as I start to figure it all out.
