-Math: Fill in all the blanks on Multiplication Fact Test #4, and fix any that you missed. Also, practice for Test #5 by completing 2 of the Five Minute Frenzy charts on the backside of that test. Today's class average on Test #4 was 64%. If we can increase that average score by 20 points to our goal of 84%, I'll plan a Fun Friday for the class: swimming at the TYFC in the morning, and then pizza, popcorn, and a movie in the afternoon!

-Spelling: Written work is due. Study for the practice quiz.

Hello to all the incoming 4th grade students and parents at Taos Charter! I hope you've all have had a fantastic summer break. I really enjoyed mine too, but I'm glad to be back working in the classroom and excited to kick off another school year with this new group of kids. School starts Monday, August 17th at 8:15 AM. Fourth grade supply lists are available in the office or at the TCS website in the "For Parents" section. It's not necessary for everyone to have all the supplies on the first day. Pencils, folders, and composition books are the most important items. Until then, get outside, have some fun, and make the most of your last days of break. I'll see you bright and early on Monday! Our TCS Welcome Back Pot-Luck is Friday, August 14th from 5:30 to 7:00pm if you can make it. Thanks for taking the time to find and read our 4th grade blog!
