-Deliver the 2-sided parent letter that explains the IXL Math and Lexia Core 5 website subscriptions. With the help of your parents, log into those sites and access your accounts from your home computer. Bookmark the page/ add to your favorites list for future access.

-Deliver the Flower Power fundraiser brochure to benefit the Friends of Taos Charter School. Bulb orders are due Friday, September 27.

-Parent Open House for Grades 3, 4, 5 is this evening (Tuesday) at 6:00 pm. Hope to see you here!

-Math: Spend 20 minutes working on any of the following IXL.com objectives: A1, A6, V3, P3, P6, P7, P26, P27

Welcome to the TCS 4th Grade Blog!

Hello to all the incoming 4th grade students and parents at Taos Charter! I hope you've all have had a fantastic summer break. I really enjoyed mine too, but I'm glad to be back working in the classroom and excited to kick off another school year with this new group of kids. School starts Monday, August 17th at 8:15 AM. Fourth grade supply lists are available in the office or at the TCS website in the "For Parents" section. It's not necessary for everyone to have all the supplies on the first day. Pencils, folders, and composition books are the most important items. Until then, get outside, have some fun, and make the most of your last days of break. I'll see you bright and early on Monday! Our TCS Welcome Back Pot-Luck is Friday, August 14th from 5:30 to 7:00pm if you can make it. Thanks for taking the time to find and read our 4th grade blog!
