Welcome to the TCS 4th Grade Blog

-Hello to all the incoming 4th grade students and parents at Taos Charter! I hope you've all have had a fantastic summer break. I really enjoyed mine too, but I'm glad to be back working in the classroom and excited to kick off another school year with this new group of kids. School starts Monday, August 19th at 8:15 AM. Fourth grade supply lists are available in the office or at the TCS website in the "For Parents" section. It's not necessary for everyone to have all the supplies on the first day. Pencils, folders, and composition books are the most important items. Until then, get outside, have some fun, and make the most of your last days of break. I'll see you bright and early next Monday!

-Our TCS Pot-Luck and Orientation is Friday, August 16th from 5:30 to 7:30pm if you can make it. What to bring? If your student’s last name begins with the letter:
A—D dessert
E—I drinks (ice tea, lemonade)
J—N main dish
O—R salad
S—Z side dish

-Class Supply Donation Requests:
1.) Parents, I'm looking for a new or gently-used 6' x 8' rug to set up a reading area in the class.

2.) I forgot to put them on the supply list, but we can always use donations of any of the following items: Clorox wipes, paper towels, folders, and composition books.

Thanks for taking the time to find and read our 4th grade blog! Feel free to bookmark it into your links. -Mr. Michael Bonner
