-Reading πŸ“š: Spend 30 minutes working on skills in your level of Lexia Core 5. Let me know when you complete a level, and I'll email you your hard-earned AWARD CERTIFICATE πŸ‘πŸ† πŸŽ† πŸ˜πŸ‘. Also, let me know if you get stuck on a certain skill. I can help!

-Math➕➖⨉➗ : Spend 30 minutes practicing the starred fraction skills in Section P of IXL Math. Also, go back to skill O-26 to brush up on improper fractions/ mixed numbers. That will help you a lot on Monday when we go back to lesson 9-2 that we started today. 

-Current Events: Watch this week's Nightly News Kids' Edition.

-History πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ: Watch the linked videos on our Google Classroom about the life and career of today's Person of the Day - Justice Sonia Sotomayor.

Ο€ - oneer Math Group is meeting at 12:00 PM today for Quin, Sophie, Teya, Daniel B., and Kiana on our usual Google Meet link.

-Math Review Group meets at  2:00 PM today  for Dalton, Avran, Loveah, Natalia, Gianna, and Daniel V. on our usual Google Meet link.

-Have a great weekend and a Happy EasterπŸ‡!   We'll see you in-person at school at 8:10 or online at 9:30 on Monday morning.  

-In-person students should check their school Gmail later today for a list of supplies and materials to have on Monday. I'll also have that list posted here at GC and on our Class Blog as well.

Good Morning 4th Grade πŸŒ„! - Main Math Group ➕➖✖➗:  Finish up the Module 5 test.  Remember to  circle problems #1, #5, #7A, 7B, 7C. Those are from lessons that we skipped, and are EXTRA CREDIT items that are  optional . If you get them incorrect, they won't be counted. If you get them right, I'll give you Bonus Points.  When you complete the test, keep it somewhere safe. You'll be handing this in with your books and other materials on Thursday.  - Math Un-Group 𝝅 : Each day, spend 25 minutes working on IXL skills in 5th grade, sections A and B. - Reading  πŸ“š: Finish  filling out the Holes   Book Review Form   and answer the   3 Comprehension Questions  in Google Forms. You may use the book and your chapter titles to help. When you're satisfied that it's your   best work , submit it and I'll check your responses. You need to be logged in to your @taoscharterschool.org  gmail account for the link to work....

Welcome to the TCS 4th Grade Blog!

Hello to all the incoming 4th grade students and parents at Taos Charter! I hope you've all have had a fantastic summer break. I really enjoyed mine too, but I'm glad to be back working in the classroom and excited to kick off another school year with this new group of kids. School starts Monday, August 17th at 8:15 AM. Fourth grade supply lists are available in the office or at the TCS website in the "For Parents" section. It's not necessary for everyone to have all the supplies on the first day. Pencils, folders, and composition books are the most important items. Until then, get outside, have some fun, and make the most of your last days of break. I'll see you bright and early on Monday! Our TCS Welcome Back Pot-Luck is Friday, August 14th from 5:30 to 7:00pm if you can make it. Thanks for taking the time to find and read our 4th grade blog!
