 Good Morning 4th Grade! 🌞

-Reading📚 : Spend 20 minutes practicing skills in your level of Lexia Core 5. 

-Math➕➖⨉➗ : 1. Have you finished the Topic 3 test, pages p. 119-122 in the Math book?

2. Spend 20 minutes practicing starred skills in Section D of IXL Math. Use scrap paper or a whiteboard to solve problems when needed.

-Spelling and Vocabulary:  Finish up the weekly written work, which is due Thursday. 

-PE 🏃🏀🏊🏂🏈🎿🎾🎯💪💓: Get outside for some exercise, and keep moving for 20 minutes or more. Get that heart rate up! Keep track of your activity using Coach's Activity Log. See his Google Classroom for more info.

-Spanish: The class will meet with Senora Molina at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at her Zoom link.

-Art: Mask project finishing.  Hooray Mask makers! Some of you are finished with your excellent masks, and some of you are still working. 

They are SO Fun to see... Twirl has made something pretty special for the community.

So there is no additional assignment this week, just extra time for those mask makers to finish.

Hello to all the incoming 4th grade students and parents at Taos Charter! I hope you've all have had a fantastic summer break. I really enjoyed mine too, but I'm glad to be back working in the classroom and excited to kick off another school year with this new group of kids. School starts Monday, August 17th at 8:15 AM. Fourth grade supply lists are available in the office or at the TCS website in the "For Parents" section. It's not necessary for everyone to have all the supplies on the first day. Pencils, folders, and composition books are the most important items. Until then, get outside, have some fun, and make the most of your last days of break. I'll see you bright and early on Monday! Our TCS Welcome Back Pot-Luck is Friday, August 14th from 5:30 to 7:00pm if you can make it. Thanks for taking the time to find and read our 4th grade blog!
