-Our annual TCS Talent Show is Thursday, May 22 Wednesday, May 21 at 1:00 in the Gym (I was just notified this morning of the change in schedule). Parents are invited to attend. 4th graders who are not performing musical numbers will be entertaining the audience by telling jokes. Keep finding more good jokes to share with classmates who need them, even if you like the ones you have already have. Write them down, and bring them into school on Wednesday.

-Drop off your thank you letter to the person you interviewed for you career project if you decided to hand-deliver them. All of the others were mailed out from the office today.

-Library books overdue: Gracie, Bintoro, Lilly, and Chantelle. Please don't forget to bring those into school on Wednesday.

Hello to all the incoming 4th grade students and parents at Taos Charter! I hope you've all have had a fantastic summer break. I really enjoyed mine too, but I'm glad to be back working in the classroom and excited to kick off another school year with this new group of kids. School starts Monday, August 17th at 8:15 AM. Fourth grade supply lists are available in the office or at the TCS website in the "For Parents" section. It's not necessary for everyone to have all the supplies on the first day. Pencils, folders, and composition books are the most important items. Until then, get outside, have some fun, and make the most of your last days of break. I'll see you bright and early on Monday! Our TCS Welcome Back Pot-Luck is Friday, August 14th from 5:30 to 7:00pm if you can make it. Thanks for taking the time to find and read our 4th grade blog!
