-Noah's Ark Pre-School Zumba-thon Fundraiser: This Saturday, April 5th, Noah's Ark is having a FUNdraiser at the Llano Quemado Community Center. They'll start with a bake sale/ Frito pie sale from 1:30pm to 4:00pm, and then the Zumbathon is from 2 - 4. Tickets are available at the door or in advance from Noah's Ark Staff and Families. $10 for adults, $5 for kids. Fun for all ages! No Zumba experience needed to enjoy the workout. Call 758-7444 for more info.

-Flower bulb orders are due back on Monday, April 21. Please bring those into school if you sold any. Proceeds will benefit the Friends of TCS effort to purchase new books for our library.

Hello to all the incoming 4th grade students and parents at Taos Charter! I hope you've all have had a fantastic summer break. I really enjoyed mine too, but I'm glad to be back working in the classroom and excited to kick off another school year with this new group of kids. School starts Monday, August 17th at 8:15 AM. Fourth grade supply lists are available in the office or at the TCS website in the "For Parents" section. It's not necessary for everyone to have all the supplies on the first day. Pencils, folders, and composition books are the most important items. Until then, get outside, have some fun, and make the most of your last days of break. I'll see you bright and early on Monday! Our TCS Welcome Back Pot-Luck is Friday, August 14th from 5:30 to 7:00pm if you can make it. Thanks for taking the time to find and read our 4th grade blog! You've found it, Mr. Bonner's Blog! This is my very first foray into this realm of communication, so check back for more soon as I start to figure it all out. It's my plan to use this space to post weekly spelling lists, math assignments, project information, announcements, and educational links.
