-First quarter progress reports went home with students today. The report is yours to keep. Please detach and sign the tan slip to verify that you received the report, and send that back to school with your child on Monday.

-Use your accounts at Lexia Core 5 Reading and IXL Math for at least 30 minutes each this weekend.

-Math: Practice the X facts up to the 12's for Test #5 on Monday.

-Kids' Fall Festival: On Saturday from 2-5 pm, UNM Taos Kids Campus is sponsoring a festival at Blackstone Ranch (near the corner of Lower Ranchitos Rd and State Road 240). There will be food, face-painting, arts & crafts, games, hay rides, pumpkin carving, music, puppet shows... It should be a lot of fun! Students have a flyer about it in their take-home folders with more info.

Good Morning 4th Grade 🌄! - Main Math Group ➕➖✖➗:  Finish up the Module 5 test.  Remember to  circle problems #1, #5, #7A, 7B, 7C. Those are from lessons that we skipped, and are EXTRA CREDIT items that are  optional . If you get them incorrect, they won't be counted. If you get them right, I'll give you Bonus Points.  When you complete the test, keep it somewhere safe. You'll be handing this in with your books and other materials on Thursday.  - Math Un-Group 𝝅 : Each day, spend 25 minutes working on IXL skills in 5th grade, sections A and B. - Reading  📚: Finish  filling out the Holes   Book Review Form   and answer the   3 Comprehension Questions  in Google Forms. You may use the book and your chapter titles to help. When you're satisfied that it's your   best work , submit it and I'll check your responses. You need to be logged in to your @taoscharterschool.org  gmail account for the link to work....

Welcome to the TCS 4th Grade Blog!

Hello to all the incoming 4th grade students and parents at Taos Charter! I hope you've all have had a fantastic summer break. I really enjoyed mine too, but I'm glad to be back working in the classroom and excited to kick off another school year with this new group of kids. School starts Monday, August 17th at 8:15 AM. Fourth grade supply lists are available in the office or at the TCS website in the "For Parents" section. It's not necessary for everyone to have all the supplies on the first day. Pencils, folders, and composition books are the most important items. Until then, get outside, have some fun, and make the most of your last days of break. I'll see you bright and early on Monday! Our TCS Welcome Back Pot-Luck is Friday, August 14th from 5:30 to 7:00pm if you can make it. Thanks for taking the time to find and read our 4th grade blog!
