-Math: Practice the X facts up to the 12's using flash cards, fact triangles, printable multiplication tests, etc. Log into IXL Math and see how far you can get. Our free trial ends on Wednesday 10/31.

-Parent Teacher Conferences: There's no school on Monday for PT Conferences. I've already set up 11 appointments that day, so I'm pretty well booked for Monday. Conferences are not required for all students at this time. If I haven't contacted you, but you'd like to meet, I can set up an after-school conference from 3-4 p.m. for you in the next couple of weeks. Please email me at mbonner@taoscharterschool.org if you'd like to arrange that. I'm also available for phone conferences after school if that's more convenient for you. Thanks, MB

Welcome to the TCS 4th Grade Blog!

Hello to all the incoming 4th grade students and parents at Taos Charter! I hope you've all have had a fantastic summer break. I really enjoyed mine too, but I'm glad to be back working in the classroom and excited to kick off another school year with this new group of kids. School starts Monday, August 17th at 8:15 AM. Fourth grade supply lists are available in the office or at the TCS website in the "For Parents" section. It's not necessary for everyone to have all the supplies on the first day. Pencils, folders, and composition books are the most important items. Until then, get outside, have some fun, and make the most of your last days of break. I'll see you bright and early on Monday! Our TCS Welcome Back Pot-Luck is Friday, August 14th from 5:30 to 7:00pm if you can make it. Thanks for taking the time to find and read our 4th grade blog! You've found it, Mr. Bonner's Blog! This is my very first foray into this realm of communication, so check back for more soon as I start to figure it all out. It's my plan to use this space to post weekly spelling lists, math assignments, project information, announcements, and educational links.
