-Math: SL 8-5 (p. 183). Use a tape-measure or a ruler to measure the length and width of your bedroom to the nearest foot. Ask your parents to help you if you need it. Make a rough drawing of the floor plan, label your measurements, and find the area using the A = L x W formula.

-Spelling: Written work is due. Study for the quiz.

-3rd quarter report cards will go home with students on Thursday. There's no school on Friday for parent-teacher conferences. I’ve already scheduled meetings with some of you, and I meet with some parents fairly regularly, so conferences are not mandatory for all students. If I haven’t contacted you and you’d like to meet, please email me at mbonner@taoscharterschool.org or call me at school at 751-7222, ext 221 to make an appointment.

Welcome to the TCS 4th Grade Blog!

Hello to all the incoming 4th grade students and parents at Taos Charter! I hope you've all have had a fantastic summer break. I really enjoyed mine too, but I'm glad to be back working in the classroom and excited to kick off another school year with this new group of kids. School starts Monday, August 17th at 8:15 AM. Fourth grade supply lists are available in the office or at the TCS website in the "For Parents" section. It's not necessary for everyone to have all the supplies on the first day. Pencils, folders, and composition books are the most important items. Until then, get outside, have some fun, and make the most of your last days of break. I'll see you bright and early on Monday! Our TCS Welcome Back Pot-Luck is Friday, August 14th from 5:30 to 7:00pm if you can make it. Thanks for taking the time to find and read our 4th grade blog! You've found it, Mr. Bonner's Blog! This is my very first foray into this realm of communication, so check back for more soon as I start to figure it all out.
