-Field Day for grades K-4 is at Kit Carson Park from 10:30-2:00. Parents are invited to come down and join the fun! BYO lunch, or enjoy TMSD hot dogs. I'll give out final progress reports and student awards at the park at about 1:45. Parents can pick up students down there at 2:00. Otherwise, kids will ride the bus back up to TCS for dismissal at the normal time.

-Bring in your signed field day permission slip and $3 bus fee if you haven't yet.

Welcome to the TCS 4th Grade Blog!

Hello to all the incoming 4th grade students and parents at Taos Charter! I hope you've all have had a fantastic summer break. I really enjoyed mine too, but I'm glad to be back working in the classroom and excited to kick off another school year with this new group of kids. School starts Monday, August 17th at 8:15 AM. Fourth grade supply lists are available in the office or at the TCS website in the "For Parents" section. It's not necessary for everyone to have all the supplies on the first day. Pencils, folders, and composition books are the most important items. Until then, get outside, have some fun, and make the most of your last days of break. I'll see you bright and early on Monday! Our TCS Welcome Back Pot-Luck is Friday, August 14th from 5:30 to 7:00pm if you can make it. Thanks for taking the time to find and read our 4th grade blog!
