-The Friends of Taos Charter School needs a parent rep for 4th grade to help occasionally with events and notifications. Please contact Whitney Goler at 741-0335 or whitney@laplaza.org if you'd like to help out.
-Seasonal flu immunization nasal mists will be available this fall to students at TCS. Parent consent forms went home with kids today. Parents, if you'd like your child to receive this free vaccine, please fill out and sign the parental consent form and return it to school asap. To decline the FluMist vaccine, just don't return the form.

Hello to all the incoming 4th grade students and parents at Taos Charter! I hope you've all have had a fantastic summer break. I really enjoyed mine too, but I'm glad to be back working in the classroom and excited to kick off another school year with this new group of kids. School starts Monday, August 17th at 8:15 AM. Fourth grade supply lists are available in the office or at the TCS website in the "For Parents" section. It's not necessary for everyone to have all the supplies on the first day. Pencils, folders, and composition books are the most important items. Until then, get outside, have some fun, and make the most of your last days of break. I'll see you bright and early on Monday! Our TCS Welcome Back Pot-Luck is Friday, August 14th from 5:30 to 7:00pm if you can make it. Thanks for taking the time to find and read our 4th grade blog! You've found it, Mr. Bonner's Blog! This is my very first foray into this realm of communication, so check back for more soon as I start to figure it all out. It's my plan to use this space to post weekly spelling lists, math assignments, project information, announcements, and educational links.
