Over the Weekend:

-Reading: Finish reading IBD. Write a chapter title for each of the final four chapters of the novel. Write a Book Review.
-Tutoring is available after school on Wednesdays and Thursdays from 3:00 to 3:45 for any fourth grader who needs help in math, reading, or language arts. Let Mr. Bonner know if you could use a little extra help and you can join us. Parents will need to pick you up at 3:45, or you can walk down to the TYFC with parent permission.

Welcome to the TCS 4th Grade Blog!

Hello to all the incoming 4th grade students and parents at Taos Charter! I hope you've all have had a fantastic summer break. I really enjoyed mine too, but I'm glad to be back working in the classroom and excited to kick off another school year with this new group of kids. School starts Monday, August 17th at 8:15 AM. Fourth grade supply lists are available in the office or at the TCS website in the "For Parents" section. It's not necessary for everyone to have all the supplies on the first day. Pencils, folders, and composition books are the most important items. Until then, get outside, have some fun, and make the most of your last days of break. I'll see you bright and early on Monday! Our TCS Welcome Back Pot-Luck is Friday, August 14th from 5:30 to 7:00pm if you can make it. Thanks for taking the time to find and read our 4th grade blog! You've found it, Mr. Bonner's Blog! This is my very first foray into this realm of communication, so check back for more soon as I start to figure it all out.
