-Math: SL 5-10 (p. 113). The Unit 5 test wil be on Friday. Review the skills you learned in this unit: 3x1 digit, 2x2 digit, 3x2 digit, and 3x3 digit multiplication (using both "Old School" and Lattice), multiplication word problems, place value up to the one billions, big number estimation, and the powers of ten.
-Spelling: Written work due. Study for the practice quiz.
-Basketball practice: Thursday at 3:30 in the Ranchos Elem. gym.

Welcome to the TCS 4th Grade Blog!

Hello to all the incoming 4th grade students and parents at Taos Charter! I hope you've all have had a fantastic summer break. I really enjoyed mine too, but I'm glad to be back working in the classroom and excited to kick off another school year with this new group of kids. School starts Monday, August 17th at 8:15 AM. Fourth grade supply lists are available in the office or at the TCS website in the "For Parents" section. It's not necessary for everyone to have all the supplies on the first day. Pencils, folders, and composition books are the most important items. Until then, get outside, have some fun, and make the most of your last days of break. I'll see you bright and early on Monday! Our TCS Welcome Back Pot-Luck is Friday, August 14th from 5:30 to 7:00pm if you can make it. Thanks for taking the time to find and read our 4th grade blog!
