-Math: Finish rows F, G, H, K, L, M on the multiplication practice sheet.
-Creative Writing: Revise and edit the RD of your New Year Essay. Expand those paragraphs. Say more.
Final draft is due Wednesday.
-Non-skiers will be going swimming on Tuesday at the TYFC from 1:30-2:15. Remember to bring a swimsuit, towel, and $2. Parents are invited to come along, swim, and help chaperone. We'll leave school at about 1:00 and walk down to the pool. The bus will pick us up at 2:30 for the return trip.
-After-school tutoring is canceled this week for 4th graders so I can meet with parents.
-Congratulations to the 4th grade basketball team on winning their first two games of the Ranchos tournament! Next game: Friday at 6:45 pm in the Ranchos Elementary Gym.

Hello to all the incoming 4th grade students and parents at Taos Charter! I hope you've all have had a fantastic summer break. I really enjoyed mine too, but I'm glad to be back working in the classroom and excited to kick off another school year with this new group of kids. School starts Monday, August 17th at 8:15 AM. Fourth grade supply lists are available in the office or at the TCS website in the "For Parents" section. It's not necessary for everyone to have all the supplies on the first day. Pencils, folders, and composition books are the most important items. Until then, get outside, have some fun, and make the most of your last days of break. I'll see you bright and early on Monday! Our TCS Welcome Back Pot-Luck is Friday, August 14th from 5:30 to 7:00pm if you can make it. Thanks for taking the time to find and read our 4th grade blog!
